Chapters Guidelines
- Inform YGL Chief Strategic Officer/Chapter Liaison of the desire to initiate a YGL Chapter:
- Send email to admin@younggovernmentleaders.org
- Include:
- Chapter Location
- Chapter Lead(s) ( include Name, Agency, Contact information, e.g. email and daytime phone number)
- Receive a recommendation from the Executive Board and approval by the Senior Management Council.
- Coordination with YGL National Executive Board
- Chapter Lead(s), or designated Chapter liaison provides the Director of Program and Events with event announcements to post on YGL Weekly Bulletin/Website.
- Chapter Lead(s) reports on a monthly basis to YGL Chief Strategic OfficerChapter Liaison by providing summary of activities and membership.
- Chapter Lead(s), or designated member, provides an annual Chapter report summarizing activities for year, including Local Chapter membership total, demographics, agencies represented, etc.
- As Local Chapter members are added, provide names and contact information to the Chief Human Capital Officer/Membership Committee.
