WHAT: DC Fundraiser for L'Athletique d'Haiti (www.lathletiquedhaiti.com) WHEN: Thursday, 25 Feb 2010 from 5:30pm-9:00pm WHERE: Eyebar DC (1716 I St between 17 & 18 St) WHY: L'Athletique d'Haiti (LADH) is an after school program for the poorest children in Haiti. It teaches sports discipline to 1,500 children (7 to 18 years old) and offers a daily meal. Parts of LADH’s soccer fields are currently serving as refugee camps for families affected by the earthquake. LADH needs your help to buy tents, gas stoves, food, medical supplies, and much more.

Kick off St. Patty’s Day with YGL at the Harpoon St. Patrick’s Festival on Friday March 5, 2010! The Festival will be held outdoors in giant circus tents (dress warm!) at the Harpoon Brewery, the largest brewery in Boston, located in the Marine Industrial Park right next to the Seaport District. The Festival runs from 5:30pm to 11pm and features live bands from the Boston area and food vendors serving delicious treats, such as corned beef and cabbage.
