WHAT: DC Fundraiser for L'Athletique d'Haiti (www.lathletiquedhaiti.com) WHEN: Thursday, 25 Feb 2010 from 5:30pm-9:00pm WHERE: Eyebar DC (1716 I St between 17 & 18 St) WHY: L'Athletique d'Haiti (LADH) is an after school program for the poorest children in Haiti. It teaches sports discipline to 1,500 children (7 to 18 years old) and offers a daily meal. Parts of LADH’s soccer fields are currently serving as refugee camps for families affected by the earthquake. LADH needs your help to buy tents, gas stoves, food, medical supplies, and much more. The founder Robert 'Boby' Duval is a CNN hero.
